About
Max Donaldson
Native Kansan Max Donaldson moved to the Rocky Mountains from the
West Coast, where he was an entertainer and musician performing in
Nevada and California. He has played with the U. S. Navy band and
three symphony orchestras. Max performed with Lawrence Welk, Frank
Zappa, as well as the Safaris, also writing comedy for a national
TV show one season. His local credits include co-producing the popular
Denver Jazz on Film Festival for several years.
So, what has Max been up to lately? He may be the top collector of
celebrity grave rubbings in North America. These original rubbings
provide the focus for a fast-paced PowerPoint presentation that reveals
surprising things you never knew about some of our country's most
colorful characters. His engaging multi-media show is both fun and
funny. Max delights his audience with amazing "Stories Under
the Stones: A Humorous Slice of American History."
Max's first book, More Stories Under the Stones explores the
untold tales of additional personalities not covered in the talk.
